Le château du Bost

The seigneury of Bost (or Box, from "bocus", the wood) is attested to since the early 15th century, as is the château, in the possessions of a family bearing the same local name. Château du Bost was then successively owned by the de La Mer de Matha, Chapus, François Givois and Ernest-Léon Alfred Sanhard viscount de Choumouroux families.
