With a surface area of 120 hectares and a length of 2.5 km between the pont de Bellerive and the pont-barrage, this lake is in fact the extension of the first lake designed by Napoleon III in 1868. It is used for national and international water sports competitions, including rowing, water skiing, sailing and speedboating.
