More than just a visit, the Musée Archéologique de la Bataille de Gergovie offers a truly lively, interactive tour. The discovery area combines graphics, models, archaeological objects and multimedia devices, culminating in an immersive audiovisual room that plunges visitors into the heart of the famous battle between Romans and Gauls.
The tour also allows visitors to explore the civilization of the Arverne oppida, understand the archaeological advances made on the Gergovie site and grasp the natural and geological history of the plateau.
