Around Vichy, 27 kilometers of trails, from Billy to Saint-Yorre, exclusively reserved for pedestrians and bicycles are offered to residents and tourists. Unique and omnipresent star of this walk, the Allier River is revealed in all its states… Following it, from the fortified city of Billy, via Saint-Germain-des-Fossés and its leisure base, one arrives in Vichy by the north to take the walk developed on the banks of the Allier Lake.

Here, the river, wild, natural, sometimes tortured, is tamed by the dam-bridge and forms a vast expanse of water of 100 hectares on the edge of the parks and the heart of the Queen of the Water Cities. The rest of the journey between nature and urban area will lead you to Saint-Yorre at the border of the Puy-de-Dôme department.
