Together we go further, says the favorite maxim of managers and now also of mountain bikers. It has become even more true since three mountain bike tour operators decided to join forces and launch Destination Grand Air, which is now the largest mountain bike area in France, certified by the French Cycling Federation.

In a haven of green...

The partners behind this Destination Grand Air project are, from north to south: Vichy Montagne bourbonnaise (14 circuits and 330 km of marked trails), the Massif des Bois Noirs (75 circuits representing 1,520 km) and Ambert Crêtes du Forez (38 circuits for 930 km). These three Bike/FFC areas have created new circuits that also act as junctions, allowing one to now move from one to the other with a unity of markings for practitioners. The whole represents a huge playground of 125 circuits and 2,780 km of marked trails across three departments of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region: the Allier, Puy-de-Dôme and Loire.
